Helsinki Finland

Helsinki might be the smallest of the European capitals, but you’d never know it with all of the history and culture that fill the city. From the beautiful Helsinki and Uspenski Cathedrals, and Old Market Hall, to the semi-submerged Temppeliaukio Church, you’ll be amazed by the beautiful architecture of the city. Board the ferry from Kauppatori, and in a few minutes, you’ll be in one of the most amazing human-made places in Scandinavia, if not the world. Suomenlinna is a giant maritime fortress spread across seven islands! In the summer, catch the tram from the Havis Amanda Fountain at Market Square on summer weekends. You’ll be treated to a tour of nearly all of central Helsinki’s top sights. These heritage trams are a century old, and although there’s no guide on board, you’ll be provided with a map to let you know what you’re passing.
