Napa Valley Wine Train

The days of luxurious train travel have been brought back to life with the Napa Valley Wine Train. The train is made from exquisite 100-year-old rail cars that were once used to carry first-class passengers on board the Northern Pacific Railway’s premier trains, the North Coast Limited and the Northern Pacific Atlantic Express. Today, the Napa Valley Wine Train is a celebration of the history of the Napa Valley region and proudly carries passengers along a 36-mile route through the gorgeous countryside. Starting in downtown Napa the train begins its journey to St. Helena and back, stopping at famous Napa Valley wineries along the way. On board, passengers will be treated to a gourmet dining experience with chefs preparing fresh, local dishes. Relax in vintage cars, like the Cabernet Sauvignon Lounge Car, originally built in 1915, as you watch the rolling hills of the vineyard slowly transform in front of your eyes.
