Palomino Island

Spread the love

Palomino off the coast of Puerto Rico perfectly describes a secluded tropical paradise with the lavishness of a resort. It’s the largest of the three private islands located near Puerto Rico, the other two being Isla de Ramos and Isla de Lobos. The descendants of Alberto Bachman Glauser own the island. Idle away on a lounge chair under the tall palm trees, swimming, snorkeling, and enjoying water sports on beautiful clear water with tones of turquoise and emerald green. This 100-acre oasis is reserved for the guests of the luxurious El Conquistador, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, which is a favorite family-friendly hotel in Puerto Rico. To get to the island, you’ll need to take a 12-minute ferry ride from Puerto Rico.
