Radio City Music Hall is a New York City institution in its own right. Home of the famous Radio City Rockettes, the Radio City Music Hall, has been a legendary theater and concert venue since it opened in 1932. This mesmerizing and magical art deco-style venue has hosted the premiere of hundreds of movies, including King Kong and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. It’s hard to imagine NYC without the Rockettes and music hall, but that was nearly the case in the 1970s. The building was almost torn down and converted to office space, but luckily it was saved and designated as an official New York City landmark.
